How You Can be Camera Ready

At this time of the year, many people are thinking about new jobs, a new direction or a refreshed brand image. It is also a great time consider the visual images you are using on social media or any other communication collateral. Perhaps they need an update. 

With the explosion of online visual communication, it pays to really think about and project the best brand images and photographs that you can. You may not be doing daily updates on Instagram or posting lifestyle blogs on your website, but if you are wanting to create a strong personal brand, it pays to use eye-catching visual images. 

First of all you may just need one brilliant set of photos for all your communication materials including business cards and social media. You could follow-on your personal brand “look” by having a selection of outfits with a particular colour theme or a particular style that you wear when on stage presenting or on-camera being interviewed. Or when being photographed by the media. 

The next thing is to know your personal brand image. If you’ve been reading my blogs and following my videos for a while you will know I talk about understanding your innate personal brand and the look that you want to come up with the project that brand. Is it professional, creative, colourful, looking like a rock star or is it wearing interesting jackets.
