At the beginning of this year, I posted a blog about my intention for a RICH year. It was an acronym for Relationships, Intention, Cash and Health. And 2025 did realise that intention.

As a quick recap, I am thankful for my year of relationships both through work and family and friends.
Attending the AICI – Association of Image Consultants International Conference in Manila was a highlight. Reconnecting with old acquaintances and meeting new people from all over the world was truly rewarding. On to Vietnam for a holiday and meeting up with Sydney friends in Saigon was a fun experience also.
One of the intentions I set for last year was to achieve my AICI CIC accreditation. Even though I have been working in the field of image consulting for many years receiving this award was testament to the rigorous standards of practice and professionalism required by the association – the peak global body for image consultants. 
Having this certification plus the many years of learning and hands-on experience has equipped me well to bring to my client’s education, consultation and transformation through styling for men and women, behaviour, colour analysis, non-verbal communication, presentation skills, personal branding and more.
A few client highlights included presentation skills training for Cedar Woods property development group and TechnologyOne software company on their new product showcase, plus keynote presentations for Strata Community Association of Queensland and Cruise360 Conference, plus various individual and SME consultations.
Having steady client work and contributing to the “coffers” and C in my goal setting, I am also truly grateful for – thank you.
Health and fitness of regular Pilates and walking, fashion and family rounded out the year with a trip to Wagga Wagga and Albury to catch up with loved ones and enjoy a few vinos at my daughter and son-in-law’s winery in Borambola. Highly recommended! Plus, frocked up for the Snake Gully Cup in Gundagai.
We are reminded that these fun times and connecting with community are so important as we evidenced in Australia with the tragic terrorist attack in Bondi. Keep those you care about close to you and make "connection" with others part of your intention for a Happy New Year.
